Synectics Solutions, have today (Wednesday, 21 October) confirmed the purchase of a five acre site in Hamil Road, Burslem, as part of its expansion plans. The Hamil Road site, originally constructed in the mid 1970’s and converted to offices in 2000, extends to 46,000 sq ft on a site totalling five acres.

Synectics Solutions have been based in Newcastle under Lyme since 1992, providing a range of highly innovative data management and software solutions to companies and organisations throughout the UK and internationally in markets including; the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

Due to continued success, Synectics Solutions has now outgrown the three sites it occupies in Newcastle-under-Lyme and has been looking for a location to bring its various business areas together under one roof as it looks forward to the next period of growth. The Hamil Road site was seen as the perfect opportunity to provide this room for expansion while, at the same time, maintaining its commitment to being based in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Synectics Solutions’ Managing Director, Carol Shanahan, said, “We’ve been searching for a location for some time that offers us the ability to bring our team together while at the same time providing space for us to expand. So we’re delighted to have been able to acquire the Hamil Road site in Burslem. Since we declared our interest in the building, we’ve been overwhelmed by how supportive and welcoming the local community, the council, the police, and of course our new neighbours, Port Vale FC, have been. It’s a tremendously exciting time for us all at Synectics and we’re looking forward to being a positive and active member of the local community in Burslem. Our company has a long history being based in the Stoke-on-Trent area and we’re all really happy that we can continue to play our part in providing great opportunities as an employer for the local community as our company grows.“

The building was previously owned by The Co-operative and Geoff Player, Director of Commercial & Investment Property with The Co-operative Estates, said: “We are delighted to have concluded a sale to Synectics Solutions which will see the building continue as a major employment hub in the local area”.
