We understand that flexibility is occasionally required and in these circumstances the logo can be positioned elsewhere. For example on a web banner the content may be centred so therefore it may work best with the logo centred also. The logo has to sit at a minimum distance from the edge of the page for maximum impact and consistency. That space is determined by the height of the company name in the logo. When the logo is required on the reverse of a document it can be positioned in the bottom left or bottom right of the page. User discretion is advised but if at all unsure please contact us. This can be achieved by using an exclusion zone around the logo. This can be measured by X the height of the company name in the logo enabling it to stand out. Too large or too small and the artwork will look unprofessional. The primary logo is measured from the top of the rectangle to the base of the logotype. The landscape logo is measured by the height of the rectangle. The primary logo should not appear smaller than 15mm in height however if it has to appear smaller than the minimum height the landscape version can be used. The 10mm minimum height of the landscape logo also applies to the four sub-brand logos. Both the standard and reversed out option can be used dependant on the background please choose the version that provides the maximum impact. Examples of correct imagery choice can be seen opposite. Also shown are examples of incorrect imagery where the logo legibility has been compromised. The logo needs a strong base on which to sit and breathe. Failure to do this can result in quality being compromised for example. For applications where sizes can vary or need to be very large eps files are ideally suited as these can be scaled to any size without losing the quality and are perfect for print based media. Pixel based files on the other hand do not enlarge well and are most appropriate for screen and digital use such as web based media Word or PowerPoint documents. Both file types can be obtained on request. Do not alter the font. Do not change the relationship between the logo elements. Do not rotate the logo. Synectics Solutions branding book Synectics Classification Public P.21 Elements Synectics Solutions branding book Synectics Classification Public Pantone 368 C is our primary colour and gives the brand a bold dynamic contemporary feel. Tints can be used to accompany or emphasise designs and work best in increments of 10. The reproduction method of the logo will determine which version is to be used. The Pantone 368 C logo should be used for printed material on the occasions where use of a spot colour is possible. For other print jobs using the four colour process the CMYK version is the correct version. When using the logo in digital presentations or on-screen please use the correct RGB values. Please be aware that certain methods and materials can affect how the colour finally appears. Different types of paper and printing processes can yield varying results but by adhering to the colour values will narrow the level of variation.
