Network & Infrastructure Engineer
Network & Infrastructure Engineer
Join Synectics as a Network & Infrastructure Engineer: design secure AWS networks, own incidents, and evolve our hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments in a collaborative team.
You’ll be part of our Cloud Network function, working on the design, build and ongoing development of our AWS network architecture. This role offers the chance to influence how we evolve our cloud infrastructure while also supporting and improving our existing on‑premise and cloud environments.

First Stage Interview
Your first interview will typically be held via Teams and will focus on exploring your experience in more depth.
You’ll typically meet:
- The hiring manager or a relevant stakeholder
During this stage, we’ll:
- Dive into your skills and experience
- Explore how you approach challenges and problem‑solving
- Discuss how you like to work and what helps you perform at your best
We aim to keep this relaxed, structured and conversational.

Second‑Stage Interview (On‑Site)
The final stage is an on‑site interview, giving you the chance to meet more of the team and experience our working environment first‑hand.
This stage usually includes:
- An interview with a Head of Department
- A presentation or assessment exercise, relevant to the role
The assessment isn’t about catching you out – it’s designed to:
- Reflect real aspects of the role
- Show how you think, communicate and approach your work
We’ll share clear guidance in advance so you know exactly how to prepare and what to expect.
