Shortlisted as finalist in the Insurance Times Awards 2018

Synectics Solutions shortlisted as finalists at the Insurance Times Awards 2018

Along with our partners the Cabinet Office and client QBE, we’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the second time in as many months, as part of a joint entry to this year’s Insurance Times Awards in the Excellence in Technology category.

The achievement follows a ground-breaking pilot project, which for the first time trialled the use of the Cabinet Office’s National Fraud Initiative (NFI) data within our secure National SIRA database fraud defence and financial crime intelligence solution.

The shortlisting comes hot on the heels of last month’s Insurance Fraud Awards shortlisting for the same collaboration and acknowledges our pioneering work with leading insurer QBE, who were the first of our clients to integrate the NFI data within their fraud prevention system, to help them achieve an uplift in fraud detection rates.

Head of Public Services at Synectics Mark Sanders said: “We’re so pleased to receive a second shortlisting so soon, which only serves to underline the quality of the collaboration with both the Cabinet Office, and our client QBE.

“It’ll be a close call, but we’re hoping for a good result on the night.”

Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on the 6th December 2018 at The O2 in London.
